Atmosphere is that of a small town diner. Good service with a smile and a real effort to make you feel at home. I wish I had a place like this near me. You could tell they knew their customers and what they wanted before they even sat down. Food was really good and tasty. I’d go back and back.

Very reasonable good food. We had burgers and fries special for 11.50. You must try the homemade cakes. We had the hummingbird cake for only 4.oo. staff was wonderful. I wish they were in my hometown!
First time to "Mayberry" and we couldn't have picked a better place for lunch. You can really feel the small town vibes. Fast service and friendly people. The food was simple but fantastic. The chocolate pie is delicious and all the desserts are homemade. It was difficult to choose! My kids loved the fresh lemonade. Thank you for making our day trip memorable!

We are locals wanted to shop local but the 1st place we went they never spoke to us at all . So we tried Barney's sweetest young lady took care of us. We had a great meal and felt appreciated! Excellent service 👏 💕
A gem with ole time prices. Only drawback was a hot fudge sundae In a solo cup. Barney burger and fries were good. Can't wait to try the pineapple cake!
I would say overall I would give this place 5 🌟. Had breakfast and lunch there. Breakfast was really good, only thing is apples didn't have a lot of flavor but everything else was excellent. Service during breakfast was a bare minimum. Waitress only served us, never ask if needed anything else or even a drink refill- spent all her time talking to a local guy. Now... lunch was exceptional! Got meatloaf and mashed potatoes and deviled eggs with roll. Husband got a hamburger and fries. Meatloaf was delicious! Mashed potatoes and deviled eggs homemade also and were delicious as well. My husband enjoyed the hamburger also. The waitress was 100% on point and so deserved her kudos- that she was so attentive and very friendly and made sure we didn't need anything Fabulous waitress!! I would go there again but if got the same morning waitress I believe I would just have to ask for someone that was going to give service to others not just one guy. O- and they have a map on the wall where you can pun it from where you are visiting from, I thought was pretty cool.
We LOVED this place! The cafe was super cute. The food was GREAT. The service was quick and friendly (kid friendly too). We will absolutely be back if we are in the area. (Just adding in case it makes a difference for anyone, but we did have to parallel park on the street due to the location of the cafe.)
Barney's has a good menu full of reasonably priced choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had the Barney Burger and Onion Rings. The burger was juicy and had the smash burger taste. It was topped with fresh lettuce and tomato. Also had deliciously grilled onions and bacon. The Onion Rings were hand dipped and were the crave of everyone at my table. The server was very attentive and kept our drinks filled. The sweet tea was on point. The place has an original hometown cafe vibe.
